Feeding the Finches

Ok Denise you should be proud of little Barry. He wanted to do his part to help the birds out in winter. He and Grandpa went to the store and bought special finch food and feeder for the finches. They hung it out back on a shepherds hook and put suet in one of the trees. In spring we will hang the hummingbird feeder on the other side of the hook. He loves to feed the birds at Great Grandmas with the peanuts........ ok well the truth is he would rather eat the peanuts but he likes the idea of feeding them.

Walking With Dinosaurs!

What a great show!! We had perfect seats to see the "Live Dinosaurs". If you ever get the chance to see this show it was well worth it. They have brought to life The Dinosaurs from millions of years ago. The paleontologist that narrates the show was very entertaining. The dinosaurs walked around the arena acting as if they would have all those years ago. Some of them were 35 ft high and 65 feet long. They swung their heads out over us since we were in the 3rd row! Barry Jr. couldn't have had a better time! He loves dinosaurs and to see them like this was fantastic for him.

Christmas in Idaho.

Christmas was different for us this year as we were not all together. We celebrated here in Idaho and the rest of the family either in Stockton or Florida. Hopefully next year we will all be together. We had a beautiful white Christmas. Barry Jr. had a great time. He got the remote control Helicopter that he asked Santa for. He also received his very first cook book and utensils. He loves to help Grandma cook. Here are a couple of pictures of him with his helicopter and cooking his very first meal.
