Race to Robie Creek
Chris has been training for his first 1/2 marathon. It is the most brutal race in the north west. 1/2 of it is up hill. He ran it with a friend who unfortunately had problems part way in. Chris being the team player that he is he stopped running and walked part way with his friend. When able he started running again. They finished the race together in 2 hours. He will continue to train and hopes to run his next one soon. Information on this marathon is under the name Race to Robie Creek.

Allergy tests for Barry Jr.
Barry Jr. has been getting Ear Infections for the last 3 years. Very unusual for his age. Since he is always stuffy we thought maybe he had allergies. He was tested and found to be allergic to outside mold, which there is not much of here in Idaho and Cat Pelt (saliva). So allergies are not the cause. The doctor did find that his Eustachian tubes are collapsed. So it looks like little man will have to have his adenoids out. Second surgery for this poor little guy. But hopefully it will help.

Tyson and Great Grandma
We were so happy Mom and Dad and Dawn and Dave could come for a long weekend over Martin Luther King Day. We had a great time visiting. We were unsure of the weather as we were supposed to have gotten rain so no major plans were made. We went to Powells Old Fashioned candy store, Ordered in a huge amount of chinese food, Pizza, and Mom took us to dinner at Famous Daves BBQ. The boys had a great time visiting with everyone as did we. The weeked ended way too soon.
