We are California transplants and now live in Boise Idaho. We were looking for a slower pace.
A place our girls, their husbands and our grandchildren could live a more gentle life. I am not the best at keeping in touch with people so I figured I would give this a try and people can see what we have been up to when ever they want to.
Daryl and I are retired. We are fortunate that our girls and their spouses could move along with us. We miss living near our extended family and friends but a 9 hour drive puts us at their doorstep. We go back quite often to visit and take care of odds and ends.
Our oldest daughter Jamie is a deputy for Ada County. Jamie's husband Chris owns his own landscape business and is a proud Marine Reserve. Jamie and Chris have just gotten the great news that they will become parents in August 2009.
Our youngest daughter Victoria works for Ada county in inmate records. Her husband Barry is also an Ada county deputy. Their son, my first grandchild is Barry Jr. Barry Jr. is 4 years old and attends preschool.
